The quest system from NPCs on the island serves the purpose of guiding players through various regions, explaining game features, and building positive relationships with these NPCs.
Story NPC (Main Quest)
They act as the receptionist for each island, and players will receive and complete important tasks from this NPC to progress to new islands.
Story NPCs will wear the distinctive attire of the island and stand near the reception counter in a prominent area for players to easily locate.
Players will complete the quest through conversations with the receptionist to unlock the new island. After unlocking a new island, players can still complete story quests on the old island if there are any remaining.
Tap on the icon or NPC to show and complete the quest.
Story NPCs will have the task of introducing new features to players through popup guides or step-by-step tutorials.
There are two types of quests:
- Meet Another NPC: Players are assigned to talk to a specific NPC. To complete the quest, players need to go and have a conversation with that NPC.
- Collect Items: Players need to gather the required number of items as specified. These items can be fish, fruits, materials (such as mats or dyes), or decorations found on any island.
Through conversations, players can also receive new items to experience these features. Players can review the opened popup guides when talking to any Story NPC.
When there is a new quest available, a quest bubble will appear above the NPC's head to notify the player.
To receive and turn in quests, players need to go to the location of the NPC and initiate a conversation. When completing collection quests, players will lose the number of items that the NPC requires.
When completing quests, players will receive items such as EXP, Pearl, Resources, …
